Hello there! My name is Jennifer Uy, I specialize in crafting visually compelling motion graphics with a focus in illustration, helping brands connect with their audiences through storytellings.
Hamster Living — Logo Animation
A logo animation created for Hamster Living, a fictional magazine concept developed as part of a class project, bringing its playful visual identity to life through motion.
Featured Projects
Me & U
As part of a Motion Design course, I was tasked with illustrating my creative workspace using vector graphics. The artwork was designed with animation in mind, with each object created as an individual asset for a future looping GIF. This project explores composition, shape language, colour, and illustration for motion based on my artist space.
I’m Blue MV
For this Motion Design assignment, I created an animated music video for “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” by Gabry Ponte – Ice Pop Radio. From storyboarding and visual development to animation, I used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to create the final piece. One-on-one critiques throughout the project helped shape and refine the visual direction.
Candy Cart
CandyCart is a fictional mobile service that delivers movie snacks directly to customers. As part of a Motion Design course, the challenge was to create illustrations for a promotional advertisement based on the client's branding and creative brief. My goal was to design engaging visuals that communicated the brand's fun, light-hearted personality while ensuring each asset was suitable for motion graphics.
