Jennifer Uy is a Freelance Illustrator who has graduated from Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
Her work focuses on the bold, bustling, whimsical nature of adolescence. The early period in life that brings out innocence, immaturity, and inexperience throughout one’s youth. She is a story teller and a painter through her work.
Influenced by Pop Culture, Stationary, Comics, and Animation she uses a Wacom Tablet device, Liquitex Soft Body Acrylics, Multi-liner Pens/ Coloured Pencils to challenge the digital age in both digital and traditional mediums. So that regardless of the medium, the effect and embodiment of the artist will remain alive.
